For sale is a beautiful 1971 Triumph Spitfire MK IV.
This car is a fantastic weekend cruiser and is in excellent condition.
I purchased this car in Seattle WA in 2019 with the intent to restore it. It has undergone numerous repairs and restorations with the interior, paint, electrical system, suspension, brakes, drive train and carburetor.
Larger servicing has been done by Darrin of Darrin’s MG Service in Chatsworth who specializes in Triumph and MG vehicles.

Repairs and restorations include:
New paint, rebuilt rear differential, suspension and camber, new vinyl top/frame, re-wired electrical, int trim, new seatbelts, new glove boxes (L & R), new cables for accelerator, choke and speedometer, trunk lift kit, trunk latch and lock, new hood stowage, under riders and exhaust mounts, new battery.
Comes with high quality car cover, a slew of spare parts and several manuals and parts catalogs.
Callouts: For being 52 years old the car is in excellent condition and is cosmetically an 8/10. There are some minor paint blemishes and a scratch on the lower part of the driver’s side door. The car at one point in it’s life was in a minor rear accident- this is only noticeable in prior repairs in the trunk on the drive’s side and has no affect on the exterior appearance or performance of the car. I never bothered with the heating system and windshield wipers as it’s always lovely weather when I take it out. An odometer was never installed and the car is not registered with a milage reading.
Reason for selling: The car was previously stored in a closed garage- I have since moved and no longer have an enclosed garage and unfortunately have decided to sell it (I wish I could keep it!)
