Winslow Felix was more than just a businessman; he was a visionary who understood the power of relationships and creativity. He built connections with influential business leaders and Hollywood elites, becoming a member of the renowned Breakfast Club. It was there that he met Pat Sullivan, the creator of the beloved Felix the Cat comic character.

In 1923, the two trailblazers struck a groundbreaking agreement to cross-market Felix the Cat and Chevrolet. This partnership not only enhanced the brand’s appeal but also solidified Felix Chevrolet’s place in Los Angeles culture. The iconic Felix Chevrolet sign atop the dealership’s showroom became a city landmark, second only to the Hollywood sign in terms of recognition and photographic appeal.
