Do It Big, Do It Right, and Do It With GFK Style
July 29, 2018
We started SoCal VW Week off in style, GFK style, with the Original German Folks Klub Club featured on the Main Aisle at our June 3, 2018 event!
Established in 1982, the German Folks have been regulars in Pomona for nearly forty years. What started as a small club in the San Gabriel Valley has grown into an international force, with chapters in Japan and the U.K., as well as in California, Arizona, and Texas! The Klub’s vintage VWs have become known for their GFK Style: a restoration technique that involves restoring the car to factory specs, using as many original parts as possible. The VW is then lowered, and a narrowed and cut front end is added. “Hard to find” original and NOS accessories are used to enhance the appearance and to add to the uniqueness of each vehicle.
The German Folks have been featured in magazines around the world, and we loved seeing them in Pomona!

Hello Folk,
My name is Alton Jones. I am a sale rep. at That’s Great News. I spoke to Joe Pina about having a few plaques made out the November 2020 issue of Dune Buggies and Hot VWs. I sent him the proofs at his email address he gave me but I didn’t get his phone number so i am unable to call. If you can please let him know to give me a call that would be great. (888) 732-6210
