If I had to describe my perfect date, I might go with April 15th… because it’s not too hot, not too cold. All you need is a light jacket. Plus, that was when the Cal-Rods Car Club of San Gabriel Valley was featured on the Main Aisle of the Pomona Swap Meet!
That’s right, the Cal-Rods were out in force at our last show. And while Tri-Fives dominated their display of cars, the crowd was treated to the usual Cal-Rods variety of classics that the Club is becoming known for. From Cadillac to Mopar, Ford to Pontiac, and even a Plymouth Prowler, the Club had something for everyone.
We’re looking forward to seeing the Cal-Rods again in the future. If you missed them in Pomona a couple of weeks ago and you would like to see what all the buzz is about, scroll through the pictures below (click any picture to open the gallery). You can also catch up with the Club at their 12th Annual Run With a Winner Car Show on May 20, 2018. This is the club’s main annual event, held at the legendary Santa Anita Park, in Arcadia, Calif. Register your classic car to park on the infield, and spend an incredible day at the races!

Ernie’s Prowler is one mean cat! The custom airbrush artwork was done by Jason Russell.
