Keep on Truckin’ with the American Truck Historical Society: Featured Car Club Follow-Up
April 12, 2017

We’d like to thank the members of the SoCal Chapter of the American Truck Historical Society for joining us at the March 5, 2017 Pomona Swap Meet & Classic Car Show. We enjoyed seeing their pickups, semis, and military vehicles. It’s not every day we get to see a restored 1959 Mack, Ford F900 RV, 1949 Diamond T or a 1937 Ford, let alone one hauling a ’57 Chevy race car. If you’d like to see more of them, make plans to visit them at their 32nd Annual Antique Truck Show held on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at the Orange Empire Railway Museum, in Perris, Calif. If you have a 1992 or earlier American built truck, fire apparatus, military vehicle, farm tractor or equipment, and you would like to participate in the May 7th show, you can register here. In addition to the show, the Club plans a “Mystery Tour” on the prior Saturday for early arrivals.
The Club also meets regularly on the 3rd Saturday of each month for breakfast at Goody’s Restaurant, 551 South Hunts Lane, Colton, Calif.
You can keep up with the Club’s happenings by checking out their newsletter, Old Iron Express, following them on Facebook, or by visiting their website.
