Another Successful C/10 Club Toy Drive!
December 29, 2016

The 2nd Annual C/10 Club and Friends Toy Drive, held at the December 4, 2016 Pomona Swap Meet & Classic Car Show, was an overwhelming success! I’m always impressed by how genuine, supportive, and charitable “car people” are, and in this case, “truck people” carried the torch. Club members, with good friends like Squarebody Syndicate, Brothers, Delmo’s, C10 Crew, Classic Scene, Johny’s Garage, C10Era, C10 Talk, Chevy Only, C10 Nation, digitalc10, MaxBuilt Customs, Porterbuilt Fabrication, LSX Connection, Classic Performance Products, Frontier Shop Supplies, Blacktop Magazine, Silent Coat, GMC-AVE, Crown Suspension, GSI Machine & Fabrication, and Lopez Kustomz rallied behind the cause, filling numerous truck beds with toys and more than $1,200 in gift cards! All donations went to the ABC7 and Southern California Firefighters Spark of Love Toy Drive. Over the last twenty years, the Spark of Love Toy Drive has collected over nine million toys for under-served children in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties.
An added bonus for spectators were the dozens of Chevy and GMC trucks from all eras displayed on the Main Aisle. Truck owners rolled in from all over Southern California, as well as Nor Cal, Las Vegas, and Arizona, to bring gifts and to get together for a great day of charity and camaraderie. This group truly lives up to the C/10 Club’s motto: “Good People, Cool Trucks, Great Times!”
Now, for those of you who aren’t familiar with the C/10 Club, well, they’re just a bunch of regular people who are into trucks. Yes, they’re mostly into Chevy C10 pickups, but they welcome anyone with a Chevy or GMC truck, including Blazers, Suburbans, and panels. The Club really just wants to have a good time with good people.
You can check out the C/10 Club’s Instagram page to see what else they’ve been up to lately. And make plans to join them at the December 3, 2017 Pomona Swap Meet because they’re already talking about the 3rd Annual Toy Drive!
