Tips for Sellers

The Pomona Classifieds lets you highlight your car or parts with photos. Upload a few good pics to get the most interest in your ad. If your car is unique, highly desirable, or just plain cool, we might even use one of your pictures, with a link to your ad, on our Facebook page… where we’ve got over 10,000 fans!

If you’re listing your car before one of our events AND you’re bringing it out to Pomona, make sure you mention that in your ad to draw even more interest. And remember, it’s all FREE. The Pomona Swap Meet and Classic Car Show doesn’t charge for the ad, or take any commission if you sell your car. Our goal is simple, and it’s the same goal we’ve had for nearly forty years… to connect car enthusiasts, both buyers and sellers.

For Buyers

The cars are beautiful and the selection is growing every day. But, the picture quality and descriptions, as with any classified ads, range from mediocre to good to beautiful. We always recommend seeing a car in person before buying. If that’s not possible, make sure you ask very detailed questions when contacting the seller, and don’t be afraid to ask for more pictures of the car, and of specific parts of the car. You might also think about contacting a 3rd party to do a detailed inspection of the car.
