The Fairplex in Pomona, California has been the home of the Pomona Swap Meet & Classic Car Show since 1975.  Of course, back then it was known then as the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds.  And when George Cross III started this venture, the show was held on the Point parking lot, where the Sheraton Hotel is today.

4,200 people came out to that first show.  Since then, we’ve expanded… and so has the Fairplex.  The Fairplex is now a combination of indoor and outdoor spaces for all sorts of events.  Karate competitions… reptile shows… tattoo conventions… you name it, they’ve got it all!  If you’re planning to attend a show (it better be ours!), make sure you take a look at what the Fairplex and the surrounding areas have to offer.

The Sheraton Fairplex Hotel or the Fairplex KOA?  What’s your style and budget?

If you’re coming from out of town and you plan to stay the night, the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel is literally right next door.  If it’s out of your budget, there are a number of good hotels in the area.  Just check out our lodging suggestions for some nearby choices.

If you’re bring an RV, the Fairplex KOA makes a great choice for ease and affordability.

Where’s the Show held at the Fairplex?

Our show is held on one of the Fairplex’s massive parking lots.  The general admission entrance is at Gate 17 on Fairplex Drive.  Keep in mind that you’ll have 15 miles of parts, accessories, automobilia, and classic cars to take in… which can be managed a little easier with our points of interest map.

Once you’re in, you’ll find our car corral on one side of the main road, where classic cars from VWs to Corvettes and Porsches to Street Rods, will be showcased.  The other side of the main road is where you’ll find 2,700 vendor spaces full of hard to finds parts and accessories.

Come visit us soon at the Fairplex.  We’re the West Coast’s largest auto swap meet and car show for a reason.  And don’t forget to contact us if you plan to be a vendor, or if you need more information about our show.  The next event is in two days, on October 20, 2013, and it promises to be a big one… maybe the biggest of the year!  (82 degree in late October helps with that!)
