What do you do when you know someone is cutting corners on a product?  A lot of us go online and complain, hoping that someone is listening.  But that’s not how Jack Katzman does things.  After seeing various car covers made out of inadequate materials that weren’t sun resistant, he created his own, and now he sells them through JSK Closeout Distributors.

“I’ve got a cover for every car, truck, motorcycle and ATV,” said Jack.

Since Jack is confident about having a cover for everything, we challenged him!  How about this – a 1961 Chevrolet Corvair Lakewood wagon?  Only about 12,000 were ever made.  Yep, Jack’s got it covered.  Literally.  The cover will be showing up in the next few days (the company ships, too).  And, yes, this author’s got one of those unusual cars.

Jack has over $2 million in car covers in his inventory so it’s not a huge surprise that he’s got a cover for whatever you’re driving to Pomona.  And covers aren’t the only thing available at JSK Closeout Distributors’ booth on Road 18, spaces 88 and 90.  You’ll usually find two of Jack’s cohorts, Dan Hancock and Gama Aparicio, there with a good variety of machinery too.

“I’m the first guy who brought a CARB (California Air Resources Board) approved engine over from China,” said Jack.  Those clean-air engines are powering all sorts of things you might be interested in, such as pressure washers, generators, and more.

JSK Closeout has been coming to Pomona since 1997.  Jack’s watched a lot of people walk around with a lot of different products over the years.  Realizing that not everybody brings a wagon to carry their purchases (sometimes we tell the wife we’re just going to spend time with friends), Jack designed a special bag for his car covers… all because of Pomona!  The bag has special carry handles so you can easily lug a new cover around while admiring all of the classics at the show.

If you’re looking for a quality cover for your ride, it would be worth your while to look up JSK.  Try them at 951-453-6343 or come out to Pomona on October 20th.  JSK will help you get a handle on things!
