Over The Hill Gang

These Folks Don’t Act Like They’re “Over The Hill”
They may have named their car club the “Over The Hill Gang”, but these Apple Valley residents are certainly not what you would call representative of the senior citizens in our society. They are a group of fun-loving enthusiastic custom car and street rod owners.
They brought some of their beautiful autos to the August 14th Pomona Swap Meet to show them off to our appreciative show attendees.
- Ken Serpan’s 1970 Chevy “best in show”.
- Bob Norton with his 1949 Ford.
- Dale Burk’s 1936 Plymouth pickup.
- Dan Rowland’s 1965 pickup with matching suspenders.
- Dick Poole and his 1944 two-door deluxe sedan.
- Ernie Schmidt and his 1953 mainline custom.
- Rex Waddington and his 1930 model A Ford Coupe.
- Richard Meyer and his 1967 Chevy Nova.
- John Saathoff’s 1950 Ford.
- Rick Holt and a rare 1970 Chevelle El Camino.
- Tom Holt’s 1936 Chevy Coupe restored from the rust up.
These pictures do not, and cannot do justice to the beauty of, and the work that has gone into, these works of art.
Gentlemen, thank you from the Pomona Swap Meet and the many people that enjoyed a walk down memory lane. Let’s do it again.
