Edsels At The Pomona Swap Meet!

 

 

Edsels at the Pomona Swap Meet are indeed an unusual occurrence, especially when you see 20 staged together. During our June 5th Swap Meet, we hosted the Southlanders Edsel Owners Car Club and hoped to get as many members as possible to gather and show off their beautiful, iconic cars. Many of the visitors to our show had never seen, let alone heard of an “Edsel”.

When we discussed the possibility of the club coming to the meet, we found that many of the owners were very familiar with our venue. A club member, who shall remain nameless said, “We love coming to the Pomona Swap Meet for the variety of autos and parts, selling cars, the hot chicks and just having a good time.” Needless to say, we really enjoyed their visit. The swap crew and spectators were glad they attended; sharing and swappin’ stories.

I hope they got to see some “hot chicks”.These folks are dedicated Edsel fans who are interesting and informative. We appreciate their joining us at the Pomona Swap Meet as they displayed this truly “American Auto”.
